In Flanders there are several distribution grid operators.
is the new utility company created by the merger of Eandis and Infrax, which tookplace on 1st July 2018. Fluvius is the largest intermunicipal company of Flanders and will provide utilities to governments, households and companies in all 308 Flemish municipalities. Fluvius operates the distribution networks for natural gas and electricity.
The tariff methodology describes how the Flemish electricity and gas distribution network tariffs are determined and set. The VREG decides independently on the tariff methodology, or on an update thereof, after discussion with the network operators and after a public consultation.
