Statistics - Classification consumers and supplied energy

Since January 1st 2004, VREG sets up a monthly survey of the distribution network operators concerning the number of access points, distinguishing between automatically or non-automatically meter read customers and between business/residential customers. Moreover, the default suppliers are asked to report on their contracted customers versus those who are still assigned.

The published figures only involve the Flemish region and they are limited to the activities on the distribution network. For electricity, this is defined as the network with a nominal voltage equal to or below 70 kV.

They will be updated every three months.

Data relating to the quantities supplied per supplier are only called up once a year in relation to the past calendar year. The statistics only relate to the territory of Flanders and are limited to activities on the distribution network. For electricity, this is defined as the network with a nominal pressure = 70 kV.
